Mary Lou Newmark’s original music for “Street Angel Diaries” includes live improvised electric violin solos, live percussion interludes using found objects, environmental soundscapes, text paintings in sound, electroacoustic multi-layered compositions and song.  All these different types of music combine with the script by Ms. Newmark and the visual images to produce an interplay of the arts akin to chamber music.
